A Walk in the Park

Since I hardly ever see snow in real life any more, I took a walk in an imaginary winter park.

It's a beautiful place with striking birch trees growing along both sides of a small creek. The creek is very turbulent during spring time, but at the moment, it's partially frozen and slow moving. Some bushes grow near the water. It's been long since they lost all of their leaves, and only the red berries remained sweetened by the frost to the delight of the birds. I saw a pair of robins chit-chatting sitting next to each other on the little bridge connecting the banks of the creek. I saw cardinals and jays perched on the branches cautiously watching me walk by. There were a couple of crows too. The crows did not seem to be bothered by my presence at all. Wise old birds, they've seen it all before. It was getting dark; the park seemed even more magical now with snow glistening in the light of the street lamps. It was quiet and peaceful in the Wonderland of Snow.
